I'm having financial problems and it just isn't any fun.  We're mainly keeping our heads above water but had a huge shock when they way we found out my husband was out of the Navy was NO PAYCHECK.  No warning.  No headsup.   Just a zero where there is normally a paycheck.  He was getting administratively discharged but was in a holding pattern for over a year.  Of course, we have zippo in savings because we have been using all our extra cashola to buy his tools...

Okay, I guess she isn't lost.  Maybe she's found.  She's just a lot harder for me to find lately.  My best friend has recently started going to church but it's like its swallowed her up.  Her whole life centers around the church and church functions.  It's bible study and women's group and services etc.  I know I shouldn't complain but I guess I am anyway.  We still talk but not nearly as much.

This just burns me up.  Some idiot has decided that he has the right to ask Spanish speakers to show their social security cards at his store.  He threatened to call ICE but didn't actually call.  Here's the newsflash for everyone, just because someone is speaking Spanish it does not mean that they are illegal aliens.  There are millions of Spanish speakers who are United States citizens.  I have a good friend who is bilingual who has never even been to Mexico-land.
