My life has been like a horror filled version of the Calgon commercial; the kids, the bills, the job search, the hubby (or lack of him) etc.  I've just been a big ball of anxiety lately. 

It's funny how one little comment can just make your day.  I've already been going through major life um...challenges.  I know I have been overly sensitive and can get my feelings hurt if someone says boo to me.  Not to mention dealing with the trauma of a probable Obama nomina...

So the most wanted Hollywood hairdo of the moment is Katie Holmes bob.  I'm considering it.  Of course, I have to consider that if I get Katie Holmes haircut it won't miraculously make the rest of me look like Katie Holmes.  I've really been appreciating the whole 20's, Zelda, flapper, Art Deco thing lately though.  I might even learn how to do the Charleston.

Whenever I find myself having a little bit too much of a pity party my cure is to count my blessings.  It helps to fend off my pouts of poor, poor pitiful me.

I'm having financial problems and it just isn't any fun.  We're mainly keeping our heads above water but had a huge shock when they way we found out my husband was out of the Navy was NO PAYCHECK.  No warning.  No headsup.   Just a zero where there is normally a paycheck.  He was getting administratively discharged but was in a holding pattern for over a year.  Of course, we have zippo in savings because we have been using all our extra cashola to buy his tools...

Chocolate and raspberry are a favorite flavor combination of mine.  A bonus is that I love the colors too, so trendy, raspberry and chocolate.  I love chocolate yogurt with fresh raspberries on top.  So good but raspberries are so expensive.  So when I saw the new Razzberry M&M's I had to give them a try.  I think they are yummilicious.  They get bonus points from me for being hot pink and in a hot pink bag.  They are also bigger than regular M&M's.&nbs...

I just saw this youtube video on another blog - Audrey Herndandez's Small Creations. It made me boo hoo so I thought I would share it on my blog too. It's about an artist who paints portraits of the fallen soldiers for the family at no charge. It just made me sad when she was talking to the portrait and said that he should have been a husband and a daddy. I can't figure out how to enbed so I included a link. I hope it works.
