Just some random things that I wonder about

Why does someone always smell like BO at Gamestop and Half-Price Books but not so much at Play It Again Sports?  You would think that the people who are playing sports and looking at sports equipment would be sweatier and therefore stinkier than gamers and readers but you would be thinking wrong.

Why do bugs find me so appetizing?  I am always the only one getting eaten alive while everyone else wonders why I want to leave.  It makes me seem like a party pooper but I'm not.  I suppose I should just get some Off wipes to keep in my purse.

Why are all the fashionable tops now blousy and maternity looking?  I don't want anyone to even question whether I could possibly be prego.  Isn't there a happy medium?  Really, I should be a designer - a REAL designer for REAL Women.  I love how designers always say they want to design for real women but I've seen the Project Runways where they make them design for real women.  They all crap a brick on that challenge because it seems to just to be too challenging.  It seems chunky people don't look good in their creations.  Too bad most of the country is chunky.

Why is shipping so expensive?  I know it's probably going to get even more expensive since fuel adds to the cost of everything.  Maybe I should just go ahead and place my online order that I've been hesitating on because shipping is so expensive.

Why did I buy such HUGE cereal bowls?  Like my boys don't already waste enough cereal and milk now they have to pour half a box to fill my new HUGE cereal bowls up even half way.  They are very orange and pretty but I think I am going to have to hide them.  Note to self - shallow cereal bowls are the way to go.

Why is everything that is comfortable ugly?

Having recently become a gym-goer, my observations are that people who exercise are very aware of their body odour and do something about it.  Gamers and people who don't get out and about might not be aware of their odour as much.

I have the same problem with insects.  Well, with mosquitos, anyway.  I'll be getting bitten while everyone else is unscathed.  It is annoying, to say the least.

Why is everything that is comfortable ugly?

I've no idea about this one.  I assume you're talking about clothing?  Or just things in general?  My most comfortable clothes are definitely not things I'd be wearing out because these generally are pj bottoms and big, loose tshirts.

You answered your own question with those statments. Some people play or read too much and don't bother looking after themselves very much. Fortunately they're only in public long enough to buy new games or books and retrest back to their den of ungodly smells.

Why do bugs find me so appetizing?

They smell your fear! or your deliciousness. If you have just eaten a

banana, then you're more likely to be bitten by mosquitos.

Maybe it's a pheremone thing.

Ah, those pregnant shirts...I have no idea what's up with them. They don't look that great...it's like they're wearing a curtain or something.

Why is everything that is comfortable ugly?

Good question...if you mean clothes then probably because we wear it so much that it ends up ugly...or maybe they're comfortable because they're not worried about being pretty and can focus on their clothes-inality.

Loca...so good to see you. It's been awhile and I was wondering about you.

I can really relate to the cereal bowls. Although, my boys would eat the whole box of cereal at one time if I let them.

Everyone says the person who gets bit the most is sweet. Be meaner!

Interesting. Probably true as well. I just have never thought of it.

Madison avenue. They seem to dictate beauty and ugly, and beauty is only comfortable to their wallets. They are trying to create the "ideal" beauty, which only exists in the minds of themselves and consumers. Comfort is not necessarily ugly, just not working towards the ideal of beauty.
