The voters from nine different states and Puerto Rico have not had their say yet.
The prolonged primary race will make the eventual nominee stronger in the general election. The rhetoric might work for the first few states but at some point people want to know more. They want details. They want plans. They want to know what the actual changes are the candidate is planning to make as President.
It is the undecided voters who decide the general election not the reporters and Democrats who are calling for Hillary to drop out prematurely.
Hillary is still winning primaries. People are still voting for her. She is still raising money. She is leading in Pennsylvania, the next primary.
Obama has taken a hit with the Wright issue. There are other questionable issues such as Rezco, Meeks, Jones, Ayers & Dohrn. He is not the perfect candidate.
Hillary will not reach the magic number of 2024 pledged delegates BUT neither will Obama. If Obama has won and the race is over why all the hysteria over getting Hillary to quit? Because Obama has NOT won the nomination.
Hillary and Obama are practically tied in polls they have remained within a few points of each other consistently. Neither candidate is running away with the nomination. The latest gallup poll shows Obama at 47% and Hillary at 46%.
The baseball game is not over in the 7th inning, the football game is not over in the third quarter and the Democratic race is not over until the convention. The reporters all want to act like they know who is going to win before the game is played but there are many times that they are wrong.
